11 september 2012 — Yuri played with his Acoustic Quartet at the Tokyo Jazz Festval and impressed everyone. He was also invited to join the special Ornette Coleman Tribute band with drummer Jeff ‘Tain Watts, bassist Christian McBride, pianists Joe Sample and Ellis Marsalis among many others
